And Relax !

Well what a hectic few months ! As mentioned previously our little cottage flooded yet again. We hadn't even finished the renovations from the previous flood.

You may be wondering why we stay ~ well apart from the flooding it really is the most beautiful place to live. So we put all our energy into making the house as flood resilient as possible. After each flood you realise what you need to do to reduce problems. For any of you that dont know, we live on the banks of the River Severn in Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The main issues are caused when flood barriers are put up in Bewdley and Ironbridge, basically the river flows anywhere that has no barriers which in this instance appears to be us.

We now have an alternative kitchen made of bricks with everything but the bricks and the quartz worktops being removable. Stone flooring and skirting. Raised appliances and after 2 x stair disasters we have decided on concrete. After 8 weeks we are back in the house. Fingers crossed, you never know they may even dredge the Rivers

In between the renovations I have been painting some new kitchen accessory designs and concentrating on a new product ~ Glass Splashbacks. Mainly abstract designs. I offer unique one off designs to compliment My Customers kitchen. I am very excited as My first one is being fitted this week in the home of Mrs. Hawkesford.

I would also like to introduce Lottie the highland cow ~ she is available on cushions, placemats, chopping boards, aprons, mugs, coasters, milk jugs, splashbacks and coming soon oven gloves.
