Pastures New ~ Hopefully !!!

Silence is golden ~ so much has been going on that I really haven't had time to think let alone write.

Since My last post we put our house on the market sold twice but fell through. Packed and unpacked. Christmas has been and gone , as has My first holiday since covid struck. We were lucky enough to go and see friends in BC which gave us a snippet of normality. First time ever that it was so cold (wind chill minus 47°) we couldn't even fish. The snow and ice was absolutely stunning ~ a true winter wonderland ❄

Then back to work ~ thankfully it is busy ! Busy ! Busy ! ~ the jet lag was immense.

We were in two minds whether to leave our house on the market but to be honest I couldn't be arsed to take it off and relist in the spring. As it turns out we have sold (third time lucky). We are changing from a country cottage to a town cottage

So the moving day has arrived. It has to be the most stressful day ever ! It is now 1.30pm and I am sat in the car with a wall clock on my lap in a car park waiting for the keys to the new house. Hopefully not too much longer as removals charge £40 per hour for waiting after midday 😥

Boy do we have our work cut out with the old house we are buying. Keep us busy for a while.

On another note my splashbacks have been gaining a lot of interest, i have 3 in progress at the minute. Although my painting will be on hold for a few weeks until I have a space to paint.

I am now off to pester the solicitor so will leave you to look at a recently installed splashback 💋
