We started our New Year visiting friends in Harrison, British Columbia.
On arrival we visited White Rock where they are currently experiencing a phenomenon where a school of anchovies have created a feeding frenzy for seagulls, sealions and seals. The noise from the seagulls was immense. What a sight to see ! A glorious display of nature !

My two chihuahua paintings of Mack and Harrison arrived safe and sound in British Columbia and are now in their new home with Brigette. These were my first commissions from Canada, so It was very exciting.
A selection of my lovingly created photographs taken whilst bobbing along the Harrison and Fraser Rivers are now for sale at BC Sport Fishing Group and Harrison Eco Tours Office in Harrison Hot Springs, British Columbia.
We also did some Sturgeon fishing mainly for juveniles, tag and release, it was lovely to see so many small sturgeon and great fun.

We also had chance to make some fishing related jewellery. We went to Cabelas in Vancouver looking for lures and attracted attention of another shopper whilst filling our basket. We found ourselves engaging in conversation with him about fishing, but didnt have the heart to tell him we were going to dismantle the lures to make jewellery 😂
We then proceeded to spend a few hours drinking hot chocolate and baileys and making jewellery at the kitchen table. I must say I found this very therapeutic as well as being fun.
I will leave you with a photo of our jewellery 💋
