HOLIDAY 😥 No Such Luck 😪

So I can put my sunglasses away. My cruise holiday has been cancelled 😥 i did expect it to be honest. This time today i would have been leaving Memphis and heading to Miami for my cruise around the Bahamas. There is always next year. Better safe than sorry ! A huge thank you to Cruisekings for giving us options.

Anyway after a lot of uncertainty we have started back at work (proper job in Stonemasonry) only 3 days a week for now but better than nothing. Not sure if it is calm before the storm or storm before the calm ! Let me explain ~ before the lockdown all orders were cancelled or postponed. We went back to no work. Amazingly and touching wood as i speak the work is flying in, but is it the storm before the calm ~ who really knows ? We are truly grateful for whatever comes our way 😊

Anyway back to the Art 🎨

Highley Station ~ Severn Valley Railway

One good thing about the lockdown was that i could take a few hours to sit at the station to sketch and paint without any people obstructing My view. A little harsh you may think but i take great delight in the amount of wildlife that has appeared in abundance.

I have also had lots of time to spend on adding my own shop to my website. Whilst i think etsy is fab it doesnt hurt to be self sufficient. Believe me it has taken a while but i am nearly there. Personally i find it harder to learn new things the older I get !

So after approx 14 months I have finally strated selling on etsy both to UK, Canada and USA. I am absolutely chuffed. Fingers crossed this will continue.
